At DataSauce, we're more of the forward-thinking, future-focused, keep-climbing-the-hill type.

But in saying that - it's always nice to take a second, enjoy the view, and take a look at our milestones along the way.

Every good story has a start

DataSauce is founded in Melbourne, and we land our first account, luxury homewares business, Canningvale.

2015

Officially Facebook official

The true hallmark of a serious relationship is going Facebook official, which is exactly what we did when we became Facebook Partners.

Also the year our ad spend reached $1m.

2016

Google, Growing & Going

DataSauce team grows to 8 and our ad spend hits $5m. We get serious with Google, and are Google Partners.

2018

New Biz, New Accounts

We launch Powered Property, our sister digital agency, for real estate agents to list and sell property faster – no matter commercial or residential.

Our ad spend climbs to reach $5m, and Hairhouse joins the DataSauce family.

2019

Hitting the ground running

Inspired by our new account with Melbourne Marathon, we start the year at full speed – winning accounts for 2XU Global, LVLY and Peninsula Hot Springs.

Our team grows to 12, our ad spend exceeds $10m, and we launch our pure play Amazon business, AB360.

Then we got busy gettin' partnered with Shopify, Spotify, Snapchat and Pinterest.

Braving the pandemic

We faced the challenge many businesses in 2020 did: surviving lockdown.

Despite uncertainty, the DataSauce family banded together and bounced back: we grew our team to 15, reached $15m in ad spend, and added Chief, Karst, Flux and Dulux to our growing list of accounts.

Pushing boundaries

As the DataSauce family grew to 25, we moved offices and won new accounts, including Vush and Aquila.

Klaviyo and Hyros are added to our list of partners.

Renovating the house

DataSauce undergoes a major glo-up with a new look, feel and revamped website. Even our sauce bottles enjoyed a label update.

Ad spend hits $25m, and with our client Flux, we made our entry into the world of TikTok - becoming a TikTok Marketing Partner fast.
