Brief Introduction.
DataSauce is a full-service Performance Marketing agency, specialising in high-performing data-driven strategies across Paid Social (incl. Meta, TikTok), Paid Search (i.e. Google, Bing), Design, CRM, CRO, Analytics, and heaps more.
And Sticki? We’re a fast-growing agency (under the same roof!) that’s quickly become top brands’ favourite one-stop shop for all things content, influencer marketing, user-generated content (UGC), photography, events and activations.
With both agencies, we cover just about everything brands need in digital marketing.
Just ask our clients, which range from household brands to early start-ups, all across a range of verticals in eCommerce, B2B, SaaS, and events.

Considering all these moving parts, we’re now on the lookout for fresh talent to push boundaries together. This role is an internship position as part of our Academy, and will equip you with an unparalleled set of highly sought after employable skills after our 20-day program which runs for 10 weeks.

Our Type (of intern, that is...)
A student with an insatiable appetite for learning, specifically in a hands-on environment, where you can apply your knowledge and help grow two of Australia’s leading agencies.
An excellent communicator, you also know the value of collaboration and can excel in a team environment, equipped with the confidence to proactively contribute even your wildest ideas. If there’s a problem, it’s in your nature to find a solution, with impressive critical thinking skills that may even lead to a revolutionary, never-been-thought-of idea!
Very importantly: You would describe yourself as someone totally on top of the latest trends – whether online, on current affairs, or just re: miscellaneous facts, and you’ve got the creativity to turn this into content and campaigns audiences will LOVE.
What do you need to demonstrate in your application?
Our hiring team's pretty clear on our list of green flags, which include (but aren't limited to) the following:
- A strong and growing interest in digital marketing, you have a passion for learning / expanding your own horizons (we want to see short courses that you have undertaken in your resume) that puts researchers to shame.
- Proven ability to tackle tasks and deliver quality, always.
- Elite verbal and written communication skills.
- Good energy. You’re fun, passionate, humble, and overall a people person.
- Commercially-minded and ambitious.
- A willingness to bring new ideas to the table from any realm of the digital world, and also ready to learn when others bring theirs!
- Strategic, analytical and creative problem-solving skills. Being meticulous is a given, as you’ll be dealing with real clients, real campaigns, real money. This is not a drill.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and all the latest trends that take most FYPs by storm… And you know how to turn ideas into reality too.
- Taking it one step further, you also love to analyse why a piece of content has made your thumb stop, with loads of opinions into its winning formula.
Your Key Responsibilities.
Be passionate about us, our clients and our work. And in terms of tasks...
- Support in our agency workflow through hands-on tasks like ad builds, market research, client meetings, creative ideation, and performance reporting.
- Actively participate in all your introductory training sessions, from Meta Ads to client processes, to the influencer marketing world, et cetera.
- Train through experience, shadowing the team, and mock practice briefs (just for a bit, before moving on to the real thing!) – Inclusive of campaign deployment, strategy brainstorms, creator sourcing, list building, ideating briefs, content reviews, deck building, insight analyses and utilising key tech and tools.
- Bring the vibes. Ensure a positive work environment for the team.
- Supporting your Strategy supervisor to handle deadlines and workload to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
- With a fresh pair of eyes, make suggestions to our agencies’ planning processes and business pipeline, by suggesting new resources or bringing new trends, strategies, and ideas to the table.
- Handle comms, like creator outreach emails and joining in client meetings.
- Be enthusiastic about all the learning you’ll do! You’ll take away the most from this internship with a proactive attitude in every upskilling and training session.
The DataSauce & Sticki Life.
- Our internship program is centred around your development. You’ll be partnered up with one (or two!) of our Account Managers, to then play a supporting role in the delivery and ideation of work for DataSauce and Sticki clients.
- In a nice pocket of Prahran with a park across the street and plenty of food options along Chapel St, literally everything’s a short walk away.
- More a creative type? Our office has a studio for shooting and filming! But beware even our creatives eat Data for breakfast.
- Regular upskilling opportunities, including fortnightly Masterclass sessions (catered, of course), networking events, skills development sessions from our external partners at Meta, Google, Klaviyo, TikTok and more!
- Extremely interactive. Your work will never go to waste, and from early on in your internship (Day 3), you’ll be a part of driving real results for our clients and agency.

- Our internship program typically runs as a 20-day program over 10 weeks, split into two consecutive 7.5 hour work days per week. But we're flexible to your schedule!
